Google Bad Review 1: TERRIBLE… Seriously, worst experience. I had/am-having (since they haven't completed) a similar experience to Victoria below. I went with Leadenhall because a nice gentlemen name Ade (worked at Leadenhall as an account manager) convinced me. About 3 weeks later he had left. Worst part about it, is they didn't notify me. I only found out once I called Ade and he said he no longer worked there. It doesn't end there… I also had a nice solicitor named Jasmine. I actually felt quite bad for her because i could tell she was way too busy… She dropped a few balls for me, but was generally nice and so i was accepting since she usually tried to get things resolved (when i could get ahold of her – although 90% of the time i wouldn't get phone calls back)…. Once my completion went through (what i thought would've been the end of the process), i sent an email back to Jasmine a month later to see how the land registry formalities were going and received an email back (automated response) to also say she had been let-go (“or moved on”). But i hadn't been notified or been told who would be handling my stuff moving forward.
To be honest, even before these two left my experience was below average. Since then, it's been months and the customer care has been worse. They don't return my phone calls. A number of things have been dropped. I still haven't completed on my property. I worry they will mishandle the process and I will need to pay for another lawyer. I'm very close to getting a legal ombudsmen to sort it out.
Communication is very very poor. There is still one gentlemen there that is caring on the phone and at least sounds like he is trying to sort stuff out named Zibrael. Otherwise, the company is terribly ran from the top down. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.. Seriously, if i could give zero stars i would.
This was my first property purchase and it has been unsettling to say the least. I emphasized when i started that i wanted my first purchase to go smoothly and please help it go through with as little issues as possible. Obviously doesn't matter that I stated that because clearly it was going to be mishandled from the get-go.
Anyway, PLEASE DON'T make the mistake of going with this law firm… At least the London branch, I can't speak for the other branches. But the branch that is located at the Gherkin is horrendous. I've also never felt the need to write a negative review before but i am so sick of this (especially considering it is a massive purchase and a very big deal for me, i find it really unfair and inconsiderate).

Google Bad Review (2): I had a horrendous experience with Leadenhall a few years ago. They lost contracts, went quiet and for two years have refused to return my phonecalls or emails. Luckily the Legal Ombudsman forced them to respond through him so I got a refund of all the money I paid them for nothing but still not one word of an apology. They were undergoing a transition at the time but their treatment of me (phone calls and emails all unanswered) in the intervening period tells me little has changed. Be very careful because if anything goes wrong they won't sort it out or take any sort of responsibility! Thank God for the Legal Ombudsman!
