Google Bad Review 1: Georgia (letting agent) and Georgina (admin team) are lovely people but rather incompetent and seem to suffer from some internal communication and accountability issues.

We paid our holding deposit 1 month ago. We asked Georgina to confirm that we would get furniture with the letting (wasn’t stated as furnished on the contract), who passed the buck to Georgia. Georgia asked if I could re-visit the property, to ask the tenants what items come with it. This was frustrating because Georgia could have just done her job properly the first time round when we first saw the property (she wasn’t able to confirm that we would get beds and desks then). We’re busy people and just don’t have the time to do their job for them?

Georgina wasn’t able to find the inventory to confirm the furnishings in the property after 1 month of searching for it. We only found that LDB didn’t have an inventory after 3-4 weeks of calling them twice a week, despite her saying she’d get back to me ‘in a few days’, 4 weeks ago. She never got back to me, and didn’t feel the need to inform me that she couldn’t find it, until I started calling regularly.

Things to work on: communication with the tenants and within the team, assigning and holding responsibility, getting the ADDRESS right on documents/tenancy guarantor checks.

Positives: nice (?) people I guess lol – particularly referring to Georgia, Georgina was very rude to me when I asked questions about the furniture and held her accountable for what she said she would do by calling regularly.

All in all, I would not recommend letting from
LDB as tenants, nor letting your property with LBD as landlords (so many other letting agencies do a much better job in the area).
