Google Bad Review 1: Booked in to have a lash lift (after numerous attempts at contacting), via phone and email. Arranged a patch test (even though Kym said that it's not something that they usually do…hmmm?). Got to the store 10-15 mins early. Shutters down, door locked, buzzers nearest the door weren't marked or even worked so I knocked quite hard a number of times in the 5 mins before the appointment and nothing. Called, text and left a voicemail only to finally hear from Kym 10 mins after the booked patch text trying to urge me to come back but I told her it was quite off putting and cancelled my appointment. To add to that, peaking through the letter box, it looked like the place was abandoned and a bit dodgy. Book at your own risk!

Google Bad Review (2): I didn't want to leave any stars but unfortunately google made me leave one as a bare minimum. What a shambles ‘ lash lab' is – hardly a lab more a lady who rents a nasty basement room from a salon. No patch test offered like all other professional salons do!! The woman who is ‘ lash lab' a very nasty angry woman (who doesn't look healthy and had terribly stubby eyelashes – this surprised me a lot – quite important to look the part given her profession). I had no clue the difference in types of lashes and asked to see pictures in order to put context to her really poorly worded explanations which didn't make any sense . She decided I was difficult and didn't want to do them – for no reason that I could understand apart from me being a lot more intelligent but a lot less beauty savvy than her. Given the bad reviews I can see it's because she knew I would be upset if they went wrong (100% probability of doing a bad job). She was incredibly abusive (I taped it when she started being a psycho so consumer standards are getting this along with a complaint) and kept sneering at me repeating herself even thought I was polite and asking what I had done wrong – I took a whole afternoon off for this – which is not great when you're self-employed – I've lost a lot of income.
Shame this industry isn't regulated / she should be barred from communicating with or touching people. Avoid like the plague and this lady should seek psychological help asap. If she treats all her potential customers like this I'm sure she will go out of business soon. I'm sure she will have to pay her friends to make her reviews look better to deflect the stream of poor reviews!
