Google Bad Review 1: was supposed to have a appointment today at magic box with kate . i was in thr area yesterday and seen a sign up saying closed . i try to contact to see what was going on . Google Bad Review (2): Waste of time and money… I bought 60 minutes and took my first 12. I have been tanning for years so I know what to expect. The lady at reception was eager to take my money without explaining anything about the beds. She asked if I wanted to stand up or lay down and NEGLECTED to tell me they had 2 types of tanning bulbs, one for deep tanning (useless) and the quick tanning ones which I am used to. She then told to go to subbed 1 where the infrared lights were broken but she never told me. I took my clothes off put cream on and when I stepped in the lights didn’t work so I had to wear my clothes on top of my cream and ask for another bed, she gave me bed 2 and asked me to pay 25p for eye cover which I found absolutely ludicrous considering the fact that she put me in a broken bed and told me I had 10 minutes to get ready. After my 12 minutes session I had zero results and I am olive skin. I complained then she said Oh you should have asked for the quick tan bed… Very unprofessional stuff. I asked to refund me the difference I’d rather go somewhere else and she refused. Absolute RIPOFF – DO NOT RECOMMEND

I have just noticed a reply to my google review.

F.Y.I. I did not yell at your receptionist. Unfortunately, I had to repeat myself over and over because she was not only defiant but lying to my face about what I said. She neglected to inform me of the basics, had I known I would've gone elsewhere.

I wasn't happy with the experience and I didn't get any results whatsoever 24 and 48 hours later.

I was not happy to be informed once I paid that I had 10 minutes to get changed and pay for ease eye…..etc

I wasn't happy to given a broken sunbed when your shop was empty. I wasn't happy putting lotion on and putting back my clothes to go to another bed….etc

I wasn't happy your staff neglected to inform me of my sunbed options.

Your staff should tell customers the T&Cs before taking their money, otherwise it's a rip-off.

Upon reading your reviews, looks like I am not the only one who wasted time and money.

And yes I purchased 60min for £48.60. I do not wish to use your salon anymore therefore I wish to be refunded the difference asap please.
