Google Bad Review 1: Korma with a side dish of ATTITUDE. The restaurant host acted like I was an inconvenience rather than a customer. I ordered a takeaway whilst passing the newly revamped shop. The host ushered me to sit down REPEATEDLY within 30 secs of being in the shop, which was unnecessary as I was holding several shopping bags and obviously it would take more 2 seconds for me to sit down. Once I looked at the menu and was ready to order, I asked the host whether they sold vegetable korma as it is NOT detailed on the new menu – only chicken korma. Bear in mind the shop was empty with ONLY two people seated at one of the other tables, the host MUTTERED “yes” and ran over to serve the other table. He provided NO details on what was inside the korma. NO details on the price of the korma. When I finally got his attention to finish my order as I had not finished talking, he took it and bar man was nice enough provide me with a beverage whilst I waited. HOWEVER, when my food was ready the host brought it to my table bagged up, I thanked him and began to gather my shopping bags. IT WAS TO MY SURPRISE my food was then REMOVED from my table and walked to the door WITHOUT me by the host. He also held onto the door, implying he wanted me to leave right away he COMPLETELY rushed me out of the shop. I didn't even get the chance to check my order before I was made to leave. The two other customers had left at this point, so why he felt the need to usher me out so quickly when there were no other customers was BEWILDERING to me. After I got home and looked into the takeaway bag they had provided me, I discovered the food containers had NOT BEEN SECURED. It looked like a CURRY EXPLOSION in the bag. Waste of money. My thoughts on the new menu as a customer of 5+ years… there is a lot less choice than prior to the revamp, also the menu less nut-allergy friendly as the Peshawari naan now contain two types of nuts. Overall, EXTREMELY disappointing.My advice would be to save your money and order somewhere else to avoid being mistreated.
