Google Bad Review 1: Stay away! Keyline Roofing are cowboys and have left us with half a roof missing, mess, broken tiles and threatened to leave site during the job unless the got cash throughout.
Found them a while ago on check a trade (now I know why they’re not on that site any more!) Stay away. I have photos, reports from builders and roofers brought in to repair the work to evidence how bad this is.
The work was to remove kitchen roof and ceiling, replace whole structure and fit 2 x Velux windows. They arrived on site with no windows despite being given all the order a month before. Windows took 10 days to arrive so house was left open to the elements and burglary as they removed the roof on day one and had nothing to make it secure with.
Clearly had no idea how to fit the two windows – they are NOT experienced Velux fitters. New rafters were installed on day one not in the correct positions for the windows (gap in rafters is too small so flashing kits don’t fit).
Threatened to leave site unless cash paid throughout, but only ever worked a few hours at a time or didn’t turn up.
They have left site knowing the windows don’t work or fit, there were broken tiles and rubbish everywhere, the side and end wall brickwork was in pieces, and half the roof missing!
They left the roof open to elements and break in.
We have now had to pay for the whole roof to be removed, rafters moved to correct sizes and fitted by professional installers.
Be careful – Frank Mongan and James Vango, Bromley they have a history of opening and closing companies!
