Google Bad Review 1: To begin with we could not fault Lawrence and his team. As time went on we still could not fault Andy & Steve who completed our first fix, however management and communication was less satisfactory. Second fix went quite well except for an electrical issue that we had to get a third party tradesman to resolve.
Our chief criticism is communication which was poor. The whole experience would have been better if communication was actually a priority – work men not knowing if they were meant to be turning up, workmen meant to be turning up and not showing, promised phone calls not being made, etc… These confusions – albeit in the time of the Covid pandemic – led to delays and frustration. Chasing them was extremely stressful. The pandemic made the situation difficult for the customer as well as the supplier.
The company could not deliver one extra part of the project and asked to be released. But it took 2 weeks of continuous chasing to return the unspent balance of the money paid. Though resolved, again this led to stress and anxiety.
Overall, do I recommend Kent Lofts? No. The tradesmen yes, the product yes, but as a whole experience, no. It was too chaotic and stressful.
