Google Bad Review 1: Might be a great comic shop for you locals – but horrible Ebay-er Was high bidder on an auction for 6 out of 7 days. Kent Comics CANCELLED MY HIGH BID a few hours before auction end and sold locally (for lower than my high bid amount). Their ebay store name is: kentcomics
I've never had that happen in all my years on being on ebay, or being a collector. Horrible business practice. If they don't want to sell outside of UK, simply restrict the auction!! I'm more than a bit bitter and will tell my tale of woe everywhere I can. What they perhaps didn't consider is that I lost out on other auctions while chasing one of theirs. AVOID THIS STORE and their horrible, lowly business tactics. Boooo-urns!!!
*AT NO POINT DID I REFUSE THE EXTRA SHIPPING CHARGES* as stated by staff in their rebuttal. Never.

Google Bad Review (2): Bought something from their eBay store, they sent the wrong item, they basically didn't care until I mentioned I would leave negative feedback. Rather than trying to sort the issue out they decided to simply attack me and try to emotionally blackmail me into not leaving feedback. I suggested they could find the comic book I had purchased, after waiting for 7 days with no response I messaged them again saying as I hadn't heard from them I'd be leaving the neg feedback, they responded pretty quickly again, no attempt to resolve the problem, just a ‘verbal' attack and to say they were waiting to hear back from some people about the book, why they didn't tell me that 7 days before I do not know. I'm sure they're fine with 90% of people but I am sorry to say I had a horrible experience with them, I rarely leave feedback on Google etc but feel so let down that I feel like I am justified. In conclusion, deal with care, you may well get your order but if you don't and you complain don't expect much help or sympathy from these people.
