Google Bad Review 1: Bought a bracelet for almost £200. Within 2 weeks the clasp broke. Took it back to John Lewis. They tried to get out of a replacement by claiming that I broke it.
BEWARE. This is a John Lewis tactic for everything. My boyfriend had the same with his phone. They hope you are weak and give up and back down.
Once it is clear that you will not loose money for their faulty goods and will push for your statutory rights, only then do they replace faulty goods.
I got a replacement and am very happy with the product. John Lewis being awkward and making me feel uneasy and having to push to obtain it is why they get a 1 star review. No need for it attitude. They were always going to have to replace it. All they accomplished by their attitude was BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.
My advice is buy elsewhere unless absolutely necessary. If it breaks then push for your rights. Staff can be rude. Bad training from management. Head office don't want to know.
