Google Bad Review 1: I never write reviews. However, IAB have proved so unprofessional, careless and disrespectful that I decided that I must share this experience with anyone thinking of using their services.
I applied for Money Laundering Supervision with IAB initially on 21st December 2020 by sending them an email with the information as indicated on their website. Two weeks later having not had an acknowledgment or reply to my application I decided to chase, following which I received a reply advising me that the application process has changes and that I had to start a new application which involved a few different stages. Long story short: on 13th January I was still hanging in the air so I chased again. On 14th January they sent me the actual application link which I followed immediately. A week later i.e. 21st January nobody had come back to me with an acknowledgement or anything else. I chased again. On 22nd January I received and email advising me that they require further information – I sent that immediately. I emailed them on Monday 25th January to ask if they had all the information they needed in order to process the application as a matter of urgency because my existing licence was due to expire on 26th January (of which IAB had been informed on numerous occasions). I received an email on 26th January confirming that they had all they information required and someone will be in touch shortly however, to date (02 February 2021) I still have not received my licence and despite chasing them a few times nobody has come back to me in any sort of form. Their phone lines are closed. They had taken the money out of my bank account but I do not have a licence. This has caused and still is causing severe stress and time waste. I simply cannot comprehend their behaviour.
