Google Bad Review 1: Repair of iPhone xs lens cover.

Called to speak to them and checked if they did walk in repairs.

Asked how long it would take. Told 45 mins.

Travelled in from work and met the chap I'd spoken to on the phone. Arrived at 1230pm. Explained I would need to leave by 130pm at the latest otherwise I'd come back another time.

Was told to come back at 120pm.

Kept being fobbed off with the worst type of customer service. “Just another two mins”. Then “20 mins”. Then ” 2-5 mins” and finally “he's coming up the stairs now”.

He didn't.

I left. I was late for my meeting. And I had no phone.

I sent my PA to go and pick it up later. Apparently she too had to wait for 20 mins. So they clearly hadn't fixed it and lied to me previously.

The one thing I value in business is honesty. Don't mislead your customers.

Had you just told me it would be an hour I would have made plans. I explicitly asked you if I would be able to leave at 130 when I logged in with you. I even had my client on the phone so as to push back should I need to.

You told me there was no need.

I don't appreciate being misled. And I don't like having my time wasted.

Edit – a reply to your response. You were told clearly my PA would be picking it up and she presented ID. This was not the reason for the second delay.

As for your opinion that 3 stars would have been warranted – again not correct. The phone came back with dust on the lens. It had to be sent back for you to fix the problem.

So, no, I think 1 star was plenty. And yes you should have couriered the phone back to me in the first instance after you'd lied about the length of time it took for repair. You didn't though even though I asked.

Google Bad Review (2): I would absolutely NOT recommend this company for device repairs. They took 7 HOURS to get my phone back to me after being assured the entire repair and return would take around 3 hours. The collection was prompt and I was sent a bill for the repair 2 hours after collection. I paid the invoice 2 minutes after receiving it, expecting my repaired device to be returned to me within the hour of payment (as I had been told multiple times). 3 hours after payment I called the company who had ‘forgotten’ to arrange a courier to return it, but was again assured I would have it back in 45 minutes. Another 1.5 hours later, at 5.45pm I furiously called the company again, this time saying they had no idea where it was and the courier should have arrived by now. Eventually it turned up at 6.15pm from a very rude courier.

To make this whole experience worse my phone screen has been SCRATCHED in the repair process. I would STRONGLY advise against using iCorrect, they clearly do not perform their repairs with any degree of care, and furthermore exhibited a distinct lack of care about customer satisfaction. I am wholly uninpressed and extremely disappointed. Go somewhere else!
