Google Bad Review 1: UPDATE
Katie called me to reassure me that she would personally follow up the required service…I was told she would email me too. No email. No contact since. STILL VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH HOMETREE!!! Still waiting for an engineer to service my boiler this week before my warranty expires due to Hometree!
Terrible aftercare service.
I had a boiler installed and they included 2 years of servicing…Last year it took numerous phone calls to get a service arranged and numerous more phonecalls to get the gas service record.
This year I called 2months prior to the required service date, except I was told the engineers only work to a few weeks diary so Hometree would call me back to arrange a service. Except they didnt…they forgot about us!
I called yesterday explaining the situation and was told they cant book a date as the Sales Team need to log me on the system….why am I not already on the system? What a shambles their system must be if a boiler install customer who gas already had 1 service is not already on their system!
So I was palmed off with the advice that someone from their Sales Team will call me urgently but they havent! I called this morning and have spent 35minutes on a phone recorded loop telling me I was caller number 1 in the queue!
Now unless Hometree pull their finger out and service my boiler before 10th January, I will lose the warranty on my boiler due to their lack of records and the terrible process they have in place as well as their laughable customer service agents who cant do anything.
I was seriously considering signing up with Hometree for their service plans but this company is incompetant at looking after customers. I would rather use an independant gas registered engineer for future services.

Google Bad Review (2): Same problem as the review below with us. Took 16 days to fix and meanwhile we had no heating or hot water. I logged a complaint to their email address last Tuesday. They state they will answer all complaints within 24 hours. But no response yet. No point calling them as they don’t often answer the phone. When they do they say someone will call back with an update but they never do. AVOID this company!
