Google Bad Review 1: Unfortunately, the lovely Punjab house a few doors down was closed this evening and decided to try the Holy Cow, Balham.
Ordered chicken biriyani and lamb saag with a couple of roti.
A few pieces of dry tasteless chicken were mixed in mushy bland rice with no additional ingredients, accompanied by a sauce of no visible ingredients nor flavour.
The lamb saag was more like chewy mutton mixed in with a lot of soggy straggling spinach, as if the two ingredients had been heated together and not cooked in traditional spices.
The only saving grace to this two dish 24£ collected takeout were the roti…HOLY COW!!
Never again.

Google Good Review: 1st time ordering. Always a worry however good was fantastic. Only place I know that does a sauce with the biryani and the quality is superb.
