Google Bad Review 1: Disappointing attitude for the moment my daughter and I arrived . The salesman did not bother to greet us. He questioned as to why we would want to test drive that car we had booked to see. There was an effort by him establish the deal before we even tested the car.
Then there was the matter of the £150 admin fee that would be added to the advertised price. There is no mention of this on the Hiltop website or even on the sales information in the car.
The valuation of the car we were selling was markedly lower than an other offer we have received.
My family used Hiltop to buy a car in the 1980’s , I hoped that the experience would have been better.
The salesman had an air of arrogance about him as if we couldn’t afford this second hand car.
The technician who did take us for a test drive was the opposite and very polite and helpful.
For a garage who pride themselves as friendly, they are absolutely not.
Fortunately there are plenty of other garages who sell the same cars.

Google Bad Review (2): Sold me a FAULTY CAR. Car Broke down x8 times, in less in then a month. Noticed many things not working afew days after purchasing. I had to pay for many of the Repairs using my own Warranty, I payed extra for at the time I purchased the car.
Car was clearly not in the condition to be put for sale. Car should have had all Faults and repairs done before, selling. I’m Very Disappointed, and i have Lost over a lot of Money.
Over the years I’ve had x4 used cars, I’ve bought from other Car Dealers. I have never had such a poor experience, of a car breaking down x8 times less then 1 month of owning.
