Google Bad Review 1: Unfortunately we had an unpleasant experience with HS Flooring, although we are happy with the quality of the workmanship we sadly cannot recommend the service.
We were pressured from the start to pay an additional £290 for ply wood in additional to latex to level our reception room floor by HS flooring's fitters, after receiving conflicting advice from the supervisor Danny, we luckily did not pay for the additional ply which would have only served the purpose of making the levelling easier for the fitters. The work took three times the promised length of time and during that time we experienced several problems but most notably damage to our newly decorated hallway and hallway tiles adjacent to the room being worked on, were heavily chipped. The hallway tiles were replaced but consequent emails with the company manager Timothy Hobern were extremely unprofessional, insulting and threatening, whereby he claimed that we fabricated the damages (despite having before and after photos and his floor layer admitting responsibility and replacing the tiles). It is a shame that a simple apology for the unsatisfactory service was not at any point offered.
Overall, we used HS Flooring in the hope that we would receive a professional service, sadly we were give no design options, were pressured to pay for unnecessary extras more than once and received extremely unprofessional assertions from the company manager.
