I was promised that the new fence post would be put in with fresh cement and the concrete from the old fence that I had removed would be taken away.
Instead the contractor blatantly lied and broke up the removed concrete with a sledgehammer and used this to secure the new fence post rather than use all new cement like we agreed. Whether this was better or more secure or not, the fact is the contractor broke his promise and lied. Nothing was taken away like we had agreed.
Further I was spoken to aggressively when I asked for a price reduction as I had removed the old fence despite being billed for removal and disposal of the old fence stated in the original quote. This saved the contractor a considerable amount of time as he stated himself that I had done half of his work but I was still charged the full price.
Lastly contractor asked to use the side entrance which I did except the first time he walked through he was not careful to remove his shoes or use shoe coverings in fact he kept his muddy shoes on the whole time he was through the house and he left a trail of mud on 2 carpets and vinyl in our utility room and there was a lot of mud to clear up from inside the house after he left.
