Google Bad Review: “If you want to get gazumped you're in the right place!” Several red flags here. First one was an offer we made that never made its way to the seller (only after we contacted the estate agent did we learn that no offer had been formally communicated to the seller). Second, and the most worrying one, is the fact that we made a generous offer, were told the property would not be further marketed, and Goodfellows and the seller still allowed for viewings to take place over the weekend. We got news that we had been ‘gazumped' on Monday the following week as both the estate agent and seller allowed for further viewings. Interestingly enough, someone had offered just £5k above our offer which was already £15k above the original listed price. I wonder how the other buyer got to that value by themselves alone. Highly unethical.
