Took my car in for a quote and was told at least £3000 worth of work was needed. Advised me to go through through my insurance and come back.
Two weeks later I get my car repaired for £500, looking good as new.
They obviously quote extremely high and probably prefer insurance jobs where they don't have a private client nagging them about keeping costs down.

Google Bad Review (2): He quotes 1.5-2 times the amount most (three other repairers) of the other repairers quote. And he is an “approved” repairer. My car was deemed a write-off because of his quote. I got it repaired by a different repairer with a quote nearly half of what he quoted.
