Google Bad Review 1: I paid £50 to repair my screen on my iPhone at Fone Smiths in Bromley. From the day of the repair, my phone would FaceTime people during a call, play/stop music when screen was touched a whole lot more. I wasn’t given a refund. They changed the screen three times and kept reminding me that I had 6 months warranty, I reminded them that I should not have to keep coming back to correct a service I paid for. Especially when the problem I had was a screen that was coming away from the phone, not a faulty screen.
Initially they wanted to give me a cracked screen on my phone before they processed my refund. I asked how this made sense considering the one they took off wasn’t cracked. Then they asked me to come back another day when they will have a second hand non cracked screen, to which I did and they didn’t have one.
Each time they would call someone, ask me the same questions and do everything possible to not give me a refund. Then a staff member who didn’t have much to say in person told me that on a set day, coincidentally when he wasn’t in they will have the other screen and I can get a refund. When that day came, he had a different tone when the staff member called him and they began to tell me that I could have a refund as the screen cost them £30. Why is that my problem? So they did not refund me.
Terrible people. Lying and having me go back and forth and then not giving me my refund. I’m still shocked that this can happen in 2022. I only gave 1 ⭐️ Because I couldn’t put zero stars, otherwise I would have.
They have now lost a customer, any potential recommendations, received a negative review, and I’m contacting trading standards. All for £50, I hope they find the £50 worth it.

Google Bad Review (2): Extremely rude and creepy staff member asked me to remove my face mask to look at my face (I am not making this up) I was made to feel uncomfortable the whole time, some very ignorant comments made also by the same staff member . If my daughter was not present with me at the time I would of taken this a lot futher, for fear off my daughter picking up on the “inappropriate” vibe I left as quick as I could. No harm done…. but I will never return. Only went in there for a fidget toy my daughter wanted – worst customer experience ever.
