since their reply i have had no correspondence with anyone from this lettings agent, they have made no attempt to correct the previously stated, so a bit of a hollow reply is.

DO NOT TRUST THESE LETTING AGENTS.
Editing my review from a 5 star to a 1 due to these sneaky agents.

This estate agents seriously need to think about the kind of landlords they are representing. They let me a flat with black mould in it, knowing full well it was not properly fixed before we moved in and then after moving in and not giving us a break clause in the contract, said they can't help us because they don't actually manage the property the landlord does.

After a few months actual leak's appeared including through the bathroom light fixture, and also through my bedroom light fixture. Also damp completely covering two sides of the wall in my bedroom and making the black mould much worse.

Fletcher's and the landlord have practically ghosted me, won't give me my deposit back even though they were disgusting states to live in and have been incredibly unhelpful, obviously favouring making a buck over the safety and sanitation of their tenants. Roping and tricking people into unecesarily long contracts (3 years!!!) Under the guise of it will be more likely to be let if we agree to a longer lease….. I think they knew exactly what they were doing with that one. This was the first time renting without help and I have learned a lot from it. Mainly not to trust sneaky letting agents and double guess, and make sure to get things in the contract.

Not that that matters as the contract was broken from the day we moved in and continued to be broken and the law broken the whol time we lived there.

Do not trust these letting agents.
