Google Bad Review: PLEASE READ BEFORE SENDING YOUR LAPTOP FOR REPAIR.I have attached my receipt just to show that I am genuinely a victim. I took my less than two years old laptop for repair at this store because the review on Google map was pretty good. My laptop was going Blue screen constantly while I was social distancing at home. You can imagine how desperate I was. I purchased this laptop in China and the company in the UK would not repair it although it was still within 2-year warranty.

When I first took it into the store, the engineer, Valad, checked all the hardware and told me there was nothing wrong with my hardware and it was something wrong with my Windows 10 system as it was probably not compatible with my Huawei laptop (I think that was what he suggested as he mentioned Huawei ban and stuff) and he could help me reinstall Windows 10 pro under a special licence of the store for 80 pounds (Now I wonder whether the system was genuine). To be honest, it was quite expensive, but I was desperate as everyone was self-isolating at home and that was the only laptop I had to do my university exams and coursework. I just had to get it fixed. I had to go back and forth to the store for at least 4 times before it was OK for a while. I also had to go to the other store once.

When they fixed it for the last time, my laptop was okay for a month. However, the same problem came back but it was like once every 4 or 5 days, so I thought that was durable and couldn't be bothered to go through the whole repair process again during this pandemic. Recently, the problem occurs more and more frequently, it happened once this morning and once last night. I have attached the picture just to show I am not lying.

When I paid for the repair, Valad told me he would give me 8 months or warranty. Earlier this evening, when I took it into the store, the counter staff repeated telling me that they do not offer warranty on their software and if I want them to try and fix my same laptop with the same problem, I would have to pay extra on top of 80 pounds to have my hardware fixed????? He did not even ask the engineer right next to him to check my laptop. I do not know if he was suggesting that their engineer was not professional enough in the first place as I asked him multiple times and he said there was nothing wrong with my hardware. He said he did multiple tests and insisted there was nothing wrong with the hardware. Or maybe the store just offers no Customer service and do not carry out their promises. It is absolutely disgusting and avoid at all costs. My experience with my laptop repair was an absolutely scam. However, Valad was always patient and responsible, unlike the counter staff who just tried to push away all the responsibility. Unfortunately Valad was not there when I went and I just left the store furiously as there was no intention to offer a solution other than asking me to pay more! That was 80 pounds robbed from a student during a pandemic!

Update: I really trusted them to be able to fix my laptop given all the good reviews. In the end, I had to fix it myself by paying them 80 pounds. Remember, if they tell you that you need to reinstall your system of something, just go to YouTube and look it up, or contact Microsoft Customer Service, they are way more professional and they don't charge you at all or in this case, charge you for what they cannot fix!
