Google Bad Review 1: Small, lacklustre selection of low-end ‘designer' frames. As for the service, I couldn't say; nobody bothered to speak to me when I went in. A waste of time.

Google Bad Review (2): Very disappointed/ Avoid. I went to this place a couple of times as they have a corporate deal with my employer. The eye test is very thorough, but they are so pushy on sales and their prices are a lot higher than any other shop. The optometrist didn't explain any options or prices and directed me to one of the staff who told me I needed to get very expensive “state-of-the-art” varifocal lenses which in the end I couldn't adapt to. When I went back to complain I was asked to keep trying although the glasses made me feel dizzy and gave me headaches. After a few months I went back again and had the glasses replaced having to pay more money. I ended up seeing an ophthalmologist last year who changed my prescription (more money spent on a third pair of glasses, but this time I had them made at Boots). I have just had a check up at Boots; same quality with reasonable prices.
