Google Bad Review 1: I have been conditioned by the estate agent into using their mortgage adviser in order to have our offer accepted. Although I was not happy at all about it, I agreed as we really wanted to proceed to the purchase.
The mortgage adviser was very friendly and responding to us even when he was off. However I disliked the fact that I sometimes knew more then he did and felt like I am not receiving any advantage by using his services.
The sale did not go through in the end as the buyer wouldn't accept a reasonable offer following the lender's valuation, so we have lost the £500 paid to the mortgage adviser, although his services were below expectation. We have been informed we would need to pay extra £99 should we ask him to reapply, but I really doubt I would waste even more money for something I am capable of achieving on my own.
