Google Bad Review 1: UPDATE (07.06.21): In response to your reply today that states ‘we offered to come and collect the soil and replace it' – this is a total lie. The E One Haulage team evidently has no moral standards at all.
BE WARY ABOUT TRUSTING E ONE HAULAGE.
We paid E One Haulage to transport 5 tonnes of soil for our new garden's raised beds and the soil the driver picked up was confirmed as high quality. When the driver arrived he insisted it was poor quality (I did not get the chance to look at it myself as he was in a rush and the truck sides were high) and that they had a much better quality soil at the yard that he would swap it for. I trusted him and he returned with the soil, which our builders then transferred into our new garden.
Once I was able to look at it properly I realised we had been duped – the ‘high-quality soil' they delivered has since been confirmed as not even qualifying as soil. It is rocks and waste and it is impossible to even get a spade into it. I took a while to report this as we spent a year trying to dig better soil into it to get things to grow. I emailed E One Haulage and they proposed delivering more soil, but this was not a helpful option as the raised beds were already full to the brim and by this point we did not trust them to deliver a decent quality soil. We then spent another year trying to improve the soil by digging some out and adding better soil and then we were in lockdown for the past year. It has not worked and we now have to pay for builders to spend several days digging out the soil because nothing will grow – we have worked out we have wasted at least £500 on plants and it is going to cost us about £1,000 to now finally have a decent soil in the garden in which plants can actually grow. I have again been asking Richie at E One Haulage for some kind of help but he flat out refuses to rectify the wrong they have caused us. They will not even pick up the terrible soil they gave us and take it away.
