Google Bad Review (2): With deep regret, I used this branch of Dexters to sell my central London apartment. After accepting an offer in June 2021, Dexters did not make any progress on my sale until February 2022 (8 months later!).
Every time I asked Dexters for an update I got a generic copy/paste response that they were ‘awaiting, awaiting, awaiting' and couldn't do anything to make progress. Dexters had absolutely no sense of urgency, made absolutely no effort to make precautions against delays, didn't respond to calls or update me on progress.
I had to spend so much of my own time and energy chasing Dexters and I was forced to be far more involved than I should have been.
In my experience, the staff proved to have terrible knowledge of the real estate industry. Not only that, they lack very basic communication and organisational skills and the manner in which they talk to clients is disgraceful. Special shoutout to Palwasha Gill, Michael Keating and Guy Thornton are the worst of a bad branch.
After making an internal complaint, I found their Customer Relations Team to be equally useless. I ended up taking my complaint to the Property Ombudsman who sided with me, and agreed that Dexters was a failure. Dexters now have to pay me compensation.
Don't make the same mistake I did, in comparison Frank Harris were exceptional.
