Google Bad Review 1: I had an appointment here a few years ago for a standard check up and to see their hygienist. From a technical standpoint, everything was good. The surgery is clean and the staff are efficient. What I feel should be highlighted was the overall pressure and fear tactics that some staff employed with me. Throughout my treatments I was given a worst case scenario of what would happen if I didn't take action. Granted, I'm not exactly a poster boy for dental care but I felt that certain staff were ramping up every single issue, such as wisdom teeth, overcrowding, replacement fillings etc. I know that it's a service I paid for but when I left with a list of potential treatments that I “should” be having done, I felt it was more out of salesmanship than patient care. During my visit, I felt pressured into paying for, let's face it, very expensive dental work that I couldn't afford. This was all backed up with catastrophising and it effectively scared me. The end result? I didn't return. I felt I was being sold to and I didn't appreciate it. I'd advise anyone to steer clear and find a local, private surgery who won't pressure you so much.
