Google Bad Review 1: very disappointing visit to the Cheapside branch, the staff have been rude and unaccommodating, the quality of the lenses is also shockingly bad, the worst on the street, save your money. We have come in to discuss the poor lenses quality for the glasses we bought from them less than 3 months ago that are now covered in scratches on the coating from very careful normal use). They have refuse to discuss the quality citing that we should have gone for the advanced £249 lenses and then they would keep changing the lenses for free all the time. That just sounds as admission of the poor quality of lenses provided by DC. The optician was rude and just kept repeating that she would advice to pay 249 and have the peace of mind, but the question here is around the quality of the product provided. The lenses got scratched from normal use like i have never witnessed before (i have had lenses from spec savers for 5 years before that without any noticeable starches). She just kept pushing for us to pay another £249 for the new lenses. They have also not provided us with the full comparison of the benefits when placing the original order, but they refused to discuss that as well. When asked for the manager, manager was conveniently unavailable. Avoid buying lenses from David Clulow by far the worst quality out there!! Save your money and time as even with the most expensive lenses you will be coming back to them on regular basis to get them replaced due to “scratch resistant” coating being of no use.

Google Bad Review (2): If there were words lower than, rude, arrogant, unprofessional and nasty, then i would use such to describe the staff at David Cluless cheapside.
Avoid them/it if you want manners. With Vision Express only 1 minutes away down the road you think they would get better training.
I never leave reviews, but felt obligated to warn the public. Even caught two of the nasty staff speaking derogatory about a customer as she left.
3 visits to the store and each time it was horrible. NEVER AGAIN.
Training won't do it, so won't fall for that we've trained them now, excuse.
