Google Bad Review 1: very anticipated and yet so disappointing visit. the waiter informing that they had a busy brunch so there is no sweet dish I want and that's it. he cannot do about it. I could expect this from a local high street restaurant but not in this highly rated restaurant. the manager didn't even bother to come to apologise for any inconvenience. I guess because of a busy brunch as well. too busy to be bothered.. food just average and completely overpriced. the space itself not too big but having a high number of tables making it so noisy and unpleasant. makes you feel as at any canteen but with a better view. waiters not attentive. had to wait 20 min to order desserts after the main course plates were collected. would definitely recommend to visit Sky Garden but wouldn't suggest this restaurant.

Google Bad Review (2): It’s not really a garden, is it? There were more plants on the street outside than in the “garden” itself, and calling the restaurant “Darwin” doesn’t bring it any closer to nature. I’ve seen airport bars with more rustic charm.
The skyline views would be good if the restaurant was located on the side of the building instead of the middle, but “overlooking the Thames” should really be replaced by “overlooking a bar, which sort of overlooks the Thames”. Most of the tables have no view at all, and having requested a quiet table for a romantic meal, we were dumped in the middle where it was noisy and crowded.
There is nothing thoughtful, personal or natural about this place; it is utterly devoid of charm and feels like exactly what it is: a con job by the developers, who promised City residents an urban garden in return for building their ugliest of skyscrapers, and then stuck a few plants in the corner and picked up their cheques. Probably quite fun if you’re drunk and easily impressed. If not, avoid.
