Google Bad Review 1: I was disappointed to have been stood up as the agent didn't arrive on time in the middle of my tight schedule then to be harassed with phone calls with a text message telling me;

‘You have one opportunity to call back and apologise or I will find you'.

In additional to the threat (that I will be sending forward to the local trading standards), they sent a message via whatsapp sending a picture of myself (from my profile picture) with the message;

‘I know what you look like'.

Is it appropriate to speak to a potential client that way? They certainly sent a shockwave of unprofessionalism that I had never experienced before.

Avoid this cowboy agency!

Google Bad Review (2): Very interesting how this agency had very bad reviews until few months ago, and now they are only showing 88 overall positive comments. Just thought it would be useful for future customers to get a slightly more realistic picture of what renting with Cubix entails.

I have been renting (small flat in London) with this agency since September 2021, and had all sort of issues. Where to start?

My flatmates and I were told that we could move in on the 10th of September, and thus came back to London on that date, just to find out that the house was not liveable yet. We had to sleep in a friend's living room for 5 days as a consequence.

When we could finally move in, we discovered mould in the bathroom and in one of the bedrooms, holes in the kitchen floor, and in one of the bedroom doors. All of this despite our contract guaranteeing that the flat would have been renovated and deep cleaned before our arrival.

Throughout the year, we had to shower with worms, unclog the sink at least four times (despite being very careful when washing our dishes) and be careful not to slip on the bathroom floor, as one pipe was leaking the whole time.

Despite having complained many times with our landlord and with Cubix, our emails were often met with rude answers (e.g., “Are you guys using the shower curtain?”, implying that the bathroom floor was wet because of us, and not because of the rotting pipe found by the plumber), or simply ignored.

In synthesis, before renting with Cubix, you may wanna think twice and carefully consider other options. Best wishes!
