Google Bad Review: Before reading my review, please read the ones before mine and understand the pattern of fraudulent all 5-star reviews. One of them is by Sharon Hamilton – the marketing manager of the property giving their own property a glowing review of an otherwise abysmal and unsanitary hotel!!!
I will summarize my stay in Room 301 with one experience that is sure to make you throw up in your mouth. I took a shower in an otherwise seemingly basic bathroom, then proceeded to dry myself with a towel provided. Upon looking down, I saw human hair and dust bunnies stuck on my face and body. Human hair that is in no way my own, as it was of different length and texture!
I have photo documentation of my stay, including a video of what else I found after this horrific experience. Pulling the bedcovers off, there were more hair strands and food crumbs. As if food crumbs were not enough on the bedsheets and extra towels, I found a half-eaten strawberry under the nightstand, clumps of hair and dust underneath the bed. I FLED this property at 430am because there was no way I was sleeping in this UNSANITARY hotel. Management had the gall to ask me why I did not wait until the next morning for their staff to inspect the problem.
They describe it as a renovated, basic hotel with no front desk or extra amenities. For the price, I thought it was a great deal; remember that anything that sounds too good to be true, probably is. I had to change hotel rooms, pay more money, and the trauma of the entire incident is too much to not make sure that other travelers do not experience what I experienced. A day later, I developed rashes on my face after using the dirty towel the night before.
The management is atrocious. I sent multiple emails following up on the incident and have only given me the runaround, perhaps thinking that I would let this issue go. They even asked why I would document the problems in the hotel. Why? Because it is called proof. I also documented how when I was going down the flight of stairs to leave the hotel, there was a storage room open and (I kid you not) 60 pairs of shoes blocking the stairwell. WHY??? I am still waiting to be reimbursed/refunded from this stay.
Any lodgings, even the most basic ones, owe it to their guests to have CLEAN rooms. I suspect they thought they can get away with not cleaning every room after a prior guest stayed in. If you do decide to still stay at this hotel after reading my review, please make sure to inspect every single nook and cranny. Beware that you may contract an allergic reaction due to the dirty state of their rooms.
Think again before believing all of the glowing, all 5-star reviews here. If management decides to report my review to Google as not true, I will dispute it and repost this review.
