Google Good Review: Compton Lodge is a wonderful, safe, warm, welcoming & caring homely care home, set in a beautiful spacious historical house with fabulous gardens. All staff are exceptional in caring for dad and other residents. Dad often speaks positively about the care he receives. Carers are very friendly, loving & kind. Dad is treated with warmth, kindness, dignity & respect. All staff are attentive, well trained & highly skilled, gently redirecting dad when his is restless. Management is outstanding whilst consistently keeping us informed about dad. Compton Lodge Manager is friendly, reliable & responsive with family emails. Regular colourful newsletters about life at Compton Lodge are emailed keeping family up to date. Compton Lodge provides a variety of activities keeping residents physically & cognitively active. Residents are well fed with nutritious & delicious meals and snacks prepared by a chef. Compton Lodge has navigated the Covid pandemic keeping the Home safe. Upmost infection control measures are in place including weekly testing of all carers and residents. Phone, Skype & FaceTime options are available to allow us to remain in contact with dad during lockdown. This is comforting for dad & family. Dad is very fortunate to live in such a friendly, safe and comfortable home. I have total trust in Compton Lodge and wholeheartedly recommend contacting the Home to make further enquiries.
