Google Bad Review 1: Sadly I had such a disappointing experience. IN SHORT: the service was terrible & so slow, food was okay but because the whole service was so bad just made everything bit rubbish.
THE LONG VERSION: I made reservation at 1, arrived at 1 and fair enough the tables she pointed to were not ready as the previous people had not left. I said i will wait over to the side so i am out of the way of the busy pavement. 5 mins later i see her seating other people so I went ask is out table ready too but basically think she gave away our table and only table she had only had one chair and she was like do you want to wait for another table or you happy with that table, we will have to get a chair from upstairs. But we had a musical to go to for 2:30pm so we just wanted to quickly be seated but we had to wait for them to get chair so we didn't sit down till 1:20, we already knew what we went and ordered as soon as we could maybe about 5 mins afterwards but was told there is a back log of pancake orders- 30mins delay apparently. ( btw this place has probably about 11 tables in totally no parties bigger than 3 really) We ordered the truffle omelette toast and ube pancakes, affogato & a english breakfast tea. (which btw was poorly presented, the cup was dirty for the tea, the affogato ice cream was in this small glass melting over the edge.) She asked if we want everything come at the same time, we said not just bring whatever is ready assuming it was the pancakes was the thing we would have needed to wait for. But it 30 mins to get the affogato & a english breakfast tea. We were actually consider leaving as we didn't want to be late for our show. Then another 20 mins the pancakes comes and then 5 mins after the truffle omelette toast at this point was 2:10 so we literally had to eat it in a major rush, literally couldn't enjoy it. The truffle toast was nice but could down with some seasoning but we didn't have time or energy to ask for the salt of pepper, the ube pancakes were only okay as for me the pancakes tasted bit off ( sour) and the only thing i really like was the ube ice cream that came with the pancakes. Then literally had to wait to even pay the bill of course. Sad as i was so exciting to go and try this place but its really an awful experience.
Not to mention whilst waiting for our food I saw the next lot of reservations waiting and bless them was standing there for like 20 mins or so to even be attended to be told to wait. Was just a ridiculous system.

Google Bad Review (2): Booked to come here for breakfast for my hen do about 2 weeks prior to the date. Called to confirm the booking about a week prior to the date. Turn up to booking to be told that they cant fit us but we can sit outside in the rain. Really disappointing as this was one of the places I was most looking forward to going and even prebooked to ensure we would be accommodated. Was told we could come back 2 hours later than our booking and we would be accommodated then but explained this isn't going to work, hence why we made the booking for the time we did! This was totally unacceptable and totally unprofessional. You have to book most things in London especially since Covid and we had no where else to go for breakfast with no pre-booking. Really disappointing, this sort of thing should never happen, really ruined the last day of my hen do!
