Google Bad Review 1: SCAM – do not use this company.
They are not locksmiths, they simply subcontract to other companies. I booked through them and and at the time of booking I was told the charge would be £49 + the cost of the lock. When the locksmith arrived from a different company he had no knowledge of this and charged nearly £350 in 'emergency call-out and labour charges' for a 20 minute job (even though I had not requested it as an emergency), I was also charged almost double the market rate for the new lock.
When I called City Locksmith of Westminster to question this and complain the ‘owner of the company' told me that he wasn't interested and hung up.
Use this company at your peril.

Google Bad Review (2): I was grossly overcharged by this company on the 08/04 when I asked them to come over when I got locked out of my flat. They took advantage of the fact that I could not wait for the building management to open the door. They advised for unnecessary drilling of the lock in order to be able to charge me for the replacement of this lock at nearly 8x the RRP (388 GBP vs 45 for the same lock quoted online).
I ended up paying close to 750 GBP for an initial quote on the phone of 49 GBP.
I strongly advise against using this company and I will be logging a formal complaint against them.
