Google Bad Review: I had an initial appointment with Nicholas Lamond. It was the late in the day appointment 6pm. My appointment lasted 15 mins maximum – and only that long because I felt confused and dissatisfied so kept trying to ask questions. He didn't do a full back examination. He felt my neck – said pain was coming from there and just put some ice on it and showed me 2 back exercises to do. The 15 mins cost 80GBP.
I said – could anything else be wrong? Its got progressively worse over 6 weeks – I didn't see how it could just be a strain. He went on and on about over using the computer. I explained several times I am an actress and dont use the computer very much at all. Habits hadn't changed – back pain had started after a very specific non computer related incident. ‘ If your walking then everythings ok'
The next day – my back was worse – I couldn't get out of bed. I called – said I wasn't satisfied with the meeting yesterday (I had booked in advance and waiting days to see him) – the receptionist listened – and said he'd call me back to discuss.
He didn't – I got an email from him saying he takes customer satisfaction very seriously so is putting my money back on my card. No advice, no nothing.
But – I wasn't looking for a refund – I didn't even mention it. I just wanted an actual service. Some help for the pain, some treatment. It felt like he just didn't want a bad review.
A bad experience – made me feel stupid that I felt something else was wrong, had no time for me, overcharged for the time we did spend, and couldn't even be bothered to try to help or call – just gave me my money back so I would disappear.
Anyway back is still hurting (a lot) – 3 weeks later – Ice definitely did not work. Finally got the courage to try again with a different chiropractor later today. Which is what inspired me to write this review.
Maybe I got him on off day. But definitely did not work for me.
