Google Bad Review 1: Absolutely disgusted by our visit today at the chicos branch on brick lane. We ordered 2 chicken burgers and was cooked prepared and brought to us within just under 10 minutes (not sure how well they take their effort and time in orders). & as soon as it came you could tell the chicken didn’t look as fresh. One bite in and the chicken was fairly pink. A few veins too.. After telling the staff, we expected them to be atleast empathetic, and just apologise-we weren’t going to make a scene. However, instead the chef pulled a tantrum in the kitchen, and the manager came back WITH the 2 BURGERS, saying we will be fully charged for both burgers (hardly eaten), they’re fine and apparently the chicken cooked was to their standard. If that is their standard then their standards are inadequate . We were offered to re order but after experiencing such appalling customer service and the sickly feeling the chicken left us, we decided to leave. On leaving, we went to pay for the sides we had eaten, and the manager demanded we pay for the burgers, after agreeing he wouldn’t. Such a disappointment.. wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
