Google Bad Review 1: Would not recommend. I used this accountant for many years whilst in the UK however upon leaving they failed to notify HMRC that I had ceased trading.
In April they asked me to pay a fee to file a tax return at which point I reiterated what I had previously told them. They then informed me it would be dealt with. Three months later they contacted me again asking for more money for the same thing. They said they contacted HMRC who were insisting that I needed to file a nil self assessment.
I rang HMRC myself and the issue was rectified within 5 minutes.
Appalling to lie to clients and keep asking them for money to file something that isn’t even needed. I would not trust them.
