Google Bad Review 1: I have attempted to book a collection 2 times (2 weeks in a row) with this charity, both times the driver did not show up even if I received a confirmation email of the booking. First time I was told the driver was running late after I emailed them to ask for an update, however the driver never arrived and the admin person stopped responding to my emails. Second time the same thing happened and was not even offered an explanation. I tried calling after no one responded to my emails (again), was told they will call back but never did. They finally offered a collection the following day which I accepted, only to find out the next day that the office was actually closed and they can maybe do collections the following week. I gave up and decided to donate to another charity. Very disappointed, I don't understand how everybody had a seamless service apart from me. I hope you will have a better experience than I did.

But:
When collecting a donation from a donor who has gone out and left the items on the doorstep together with a note, it might be an idea to leave some indication that you've collected the donation. Otherwise, when he gets back, the donor will worry that the item was in fact nicked and call your office to check and, if relevant, prevent an unnecessary journey by you.
