Google Bad Review 1: I WOULD RECOMMEND STAYING WELL AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!
Firstly they failed to keep to any of their initial time scales. Secondly they made a complete shambles of the plans for my loft conversion. Thirdly, they have taken almost £5000 of my money and refuse to refund it despite no work being commenced as yet. Once they had my money they did not keep to the promised time scales and it took 5 weeks for just the plans to be even drawn up!! They informed me an “architect” would do the drawings but it is actually the director’s son who is not an architect and is definitely not qualified for the job. He missed an entire section of my current roof on the planning drawings which led to plans being rejected. There was no apology. I have asked for a refund but they have refused point blank. Also despite what it says on the website and contract there is no deposit protection and you risk losing time and money. On the contract it mentions an adjudicator for disputes but this doesn’t seem exist as they have failed to provide me with such information. Please be wise and choose someone who is qualified for the job, not just a company with a fancy website!

Google Bad Review (2): VERY UNSATISFACTORY EXPERIENCE!
If you are looking for a reliable company to make your investment for a loft conversation- THIS IS NOT THE COMPANY TO USE!
After a lot of deliberation and getting quotes from other companies Central Lofts seemed like a good company, they made us a lot of promises and seemed like the kind of people that would keep to their word. This was NOT THE CASE.
– They did not keep to timelines that they promised.
– They promised us that an architect would do our drawings, when we later found out this person WAS NOT an architect.
– They were very rude with all our communication after we had paid the deposit.
– They said planning permission was certain so we were happy to part with a large sum of money for the deposit, later it was declined. Declined based on mistakes made by their APPARENT ARCHITECT!!
We are now left with no loft and a company that did not keep to timelines or promises. Further to this, their communication has been rude and unapologetic which has made the experience for us really sour.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.
