Google Bad Review 1: May be decent for straightforward blow-dries reading other reviews, but in my experience for anything like a hair-up or braiding of the hair I would definitely avoid this place.

Google Bad Review (2): on November 3rd 2016 i had visited Centini Blow-dry bar as after 3 years of trying to grow my hair i needed it to be trimmed for my sisters wedding. i specifically asked to have no more than an inch cut from my hair, and on the day as my hair was blow dried and curled everything seemed normal according to myself and my friend whom accompanied me. a few weeks later i started to notice that every time i had tied my hair up one side seemed shorter than the other and as the weeks went on my hair seemed to be getting worse and worse in texture. naturally i have very curly hair so when my hair is out its very hard to tell whether my hair is damaged or uneven until i straighten my hair which is hardly ever. i thought that maybe i was just being selfconsience until recently when i noticed that the texture of my hair seemed very abnormal so i then straightened my hair to see what was wrong with it; only to notice now that my hair had been cut at 3 different levels and also cut in a way that my hair is completely damaged and i now am forced to cut off more than half of my hair despite waiting three years to grow it back to a length i was happy with. as soon as i had realised i was so distort that i had asked my sister to contact the salon on my behalf and apparently someone she had spoken to had offered to give me a refund however after not hearing back from them after a few days i took it upon myself to contact the manager who had asked me to send in a photo of the damage done to my hair, which i happily done along with an email explaining the situation. Again i received no reply back and after two days had contacted again and was spoken to very rudely and with no remorse to what they had done. As i was speaking with a manager i expected some kind of professionalism however instead was told “what do you expect me to do” i explained that i am aware of the time frame of the situation but taking into consideration my hair type these things are very difficult to tell and take time to notice. i even explained that i am more than happy to visit the store again so she can see for herself and even then she had refused claiming “theres no point”. i understand its been 2 months since I've had my hair cut but as a hairdresser you would understand different hair types. to some people this may seem ridiculous but i truly believe that was treated very unfairly having being forced to cut your hair is different to wanting to cut it. its been a long road for me to get my hair to back to being healthy and long and the fact that from a woman i was shown no sympathy what soever not even a simple apology is beyond me. My cut and blow dry cost me 45 pounds in total. i think its unfair that people are made to believe this is one of the best places for cuts and blow drys and i truly believe people need to be made aware as i would never want anyone to go through having to loose half their hair over someone else's mistake. As explained to the manager if they had just shown some kind of sympathy or offered some kind of compensation for their mistake i would have truly appreciated that. but i feel because of their attitude and behaviour towards my situation this should be taken further and be made aware of. The “manager” that i dealt with was called Jessica who i just want thank for her rudeness and lack of professionalism when it comes to management. you should learn to prioritise your customers. considering where you are based you rely a lot on loyal customers and this kind of behaviour from yourself and your team will only effect your salon in future. As i explained to you over the phone i will be taking this further.
