Google Bad Review 1:  When looking for the perfect floor for my new flat, I came across this local business specialising in wooden floors. They had a good selection on display, and were really helpful throughout the pre-sales process.

However, once my payment had been processed, that's where the my positive experience with the Wooden Floor Specialist Ltd ends.

It started with the wrong flooring being delivered, being a completely different colour to the one ordered. I went straight back round to the shop to show them the issue, and it transpired that they'd had an old display sample up, of which the supplier had now changed the colour of.

Naturally, you'd expect a company to be empathetic to a customer's situation, and proactively try to resolve the issue. However, instead I received lectures about the shop's profit margins, as they tried to sell me yet more flooring to resolve the issue!

Unfortunately as the flooring had taken 6 weeks to arrive (including 11 days of which the flooring had been sitting in the shop, and they forgot to tell me it had arrived), I had no time left to return the flooring and order a replacement elsewhere. The shop were very unsupportive in my circumstances, and offered me just £50 compensation for their error (on a £2500 order!).

Sadly, this wasn't the only issue I experienced with the Wooden Floor Specialist Ltd. Alongside incorrect flooring, poor communication from the shop, slow delivery times, and unhelpful customer service, the order also included pieces of trim which didn't match the floor. This took 2 weeks for them to fix, despite promising to have it resolved in 3 days.

But perhaps worst of all, was the rudeness of the staff towards me after raising this issue. Along with being unempathetic of my situation, refusing to accept any responsibility for the issue and trying to shift the blame, the staff were even more rude once I'd raised my concerns with them via email. Not only did they ignore my concerns and respond with false information and lies in attempt to prove me wrong, one of the members of staff even turned up at my home unannounced, and proceeded to argue and be accusation towards myself and my girlfriend!

All-round shocking customer experience, with almost ‘anecdotal-worthy' examples of how not to treat customers. Safe to say I advise you to be wary of this company!

Google Bad Review (2):  Very frustrated with this company’s poor customer service. We booked an appointment for an estimate which was done but have heard nothing back since. I followed up and received no response. I managed to get the person who assessed our floor on the phone but he didn’t even remember coming to our flat. I followed up with a picture of the damaged area as a reminder and still no response days later. The experience has been a complete waste of our time.
