Google Bad Review 1:  First of all you can tell that a lot of the 5/5 reviews are paid reviews which is common in this industry. Overall poorly managed property. Very overpriced for the type of service and rooms. Check in is poor and slow, I dealt with Mr CHENG at the front desk who showed no real desire to help, he just gave a standard answer at check in-“we cannot tell how many hours before a room is ready” and basically pushed me off. He never showed any eye contact, this seems to be the temperament of the majority of the front desk staff. Except for one person-I walked over to MURIEL at the next check in desk and she called housekeeping, she ascertained an estimate time and showed a true personal caring attitude. But, Unfortunately expect 3-4 hour minimum wait for your room.
Lounge lobby service is awful. I sat for almost an hour in a desolate lounge/restaurant in the lobby. Two waitress on site, both just standing talking with each other. Extremely poor-service. A just dont care attitude. Even when you speak with the manager Martin, he has the same attitude automatically defensive. If management exemplifies such poor service of course staff will project the same poor service attitude. Avoid here and walk a block over westminister bridge and enjoy a traditional meal at great price fantastic service. Overall poor service in entire facility. Location is the only exemplary praise. Please excuse brevity and grammatical errors

Google Bad Review 1:  We booked a suite for a couple of nights in London to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary.

The check-in staff were pleasant but very slow. They had no idea what was part of the package I ordered, they didn't tell me about any of the services the hotel provided and couldn't even be bothered to tell me where breakfast was going to be served the next morning.

The suite we booked came with a steam-room, projection (cinema) facilities in room and fancy electric curtains. It was a quite large room. However, the view was dismal, it looked out on to the Gym. The room itself was possibly once very nice, but has deteriorated and given the cleanliness, the hotel seems not to care. There were a number of ugly marks on the walls, floors and fittings. Maybe not the hotels fault but the greasy finger prints on the lighting, dust on the shelves and TV most certainly was the hotels fault. Many of the fittings: mini-bar, cupboards beneath the TV and a door, were broken or on their last legs.

Come 10'o clock at night, it was time to draw the curtains. However the computer tablet that controlled them was broken, which meant the curtains could not be drawn. An engineer came and was unable to repair the faulty tablet. He knew this immediately because there was ‘no master tablet'. Symptomatic of poor management I suspect. Why no ‘Master tablet'? seems pathetic.

The duty manager, after initially saying there were no more rooms, phoned me to inform me we could move to another a suite and someone would come to help in 20 minutes. 40 minutes later — nobody. One more phone call by me and a stressed member of staff flustered into the room and offered me the keys to another suite.

The second suite was much smaller, had fewer facilities, no steam room, no projection facilities and was clearly a good deal cheaper than the room I had booked. No apology, no acknowledgement from the management, no indication of how this would be reflected in the bill. Again, symptomatic of poor or inadequate management.

The check-out was painfully slow (10:30am) and seemingly no knowledge of room down grade. I was told a manager would call me, but as yet — nothing.

In all, if it wasn't for the location, it would be very hard to recommend this hotel, especially since my wife was more than little heart broken by their lackadaisical attitude to guests and the service they provide to guests. It felt we were very much taken for granted.

For context: I've stayed in hotels from Cairo to Tokyo, Boston to San Francisco, Paris to Port Louis. I travel for a living. Occasionally expensive hotels, often modest hotels. From Premiere Inns to the New Otani's. Never have I felt so let down or disappointed by the price to service ratio the W London offered.

Google Bad Review (2):  Disgusting service. We prepaid a film screening with two lots of food and drinks (not cheap!). We got one set of food and drinks and a whole lot of fuss. Unopened bottles of wine, beer and soft drinks were cleared away before our guests had left and waiting staff were virtually non existent. To top it all off they then handed us a bill which had been prepaid in front of our clients and disputed until receipts were shown. Save yourself the hassle and embarrassment these guys don't need your business.

Google Bad Review 1:  Rude and dishonest concierge/management. That aside. The hotel is very large and impersonal. It needs to be because it is extremely busy and loud. The Place is very clean and presentable(I watched a lady wipe down the main front doors half a dozen times in around an hour.) The employees and managers appear to be in perpetual chaos behind the scenes. Unhappy, unfulfilled front of house staff, no doubt a result.
All in all, I will not be staying here in the future!

Chef Charles Goonerante was the reason..His attitude was very bad..told me that doesn't like people from my country and even womens are better than us.. ( RACIST )!!! Was disrespectful,abusive,racist and much more..he put us in the kitchen to work for 10 hours without break or toilet..and when we ask for water told us to drink from the tap..
( There was machine water downstairs and staff canteen but he never told us)
These are just few things from my experience. Of two days on the banqueting kitchen with the chef Charles Goonerant!!

Google Bad Review 1:  The room was not fit for purpose. Bathroom tiles and paint were cracked, damp and mould around shower and the ceiling. Floorboard creaked every time you moved, furniture was dilapidated and the windows were filthy to the point you could barely see out of them. The window frame were in disrepair and single glazed, you could hear the traffic lights every time they allowed pedestrians to cross. The room felt like a bedsit and I avoided breakfast because the hotel felt so dirty. I made the front desk aware of my dissatisfaction and asked to speak to a manager, and was told there wasn't one on duty. I asked for them to contact me directly, which has subsequently not happened. I completed an online survey from the hotel and was sent a generic response from a manager. I left a review on an external site and again given a generic response. I emailed the hotel and was told “Thank you for contacting us. We will promptly reply to your request”, that was over a week ago. I see other people have encountered similar issues to myself only to be told the generic response of “I do hope you will be glad to read that we are currently monitoring some improvements in our rooms and we do hope we can welcome you back on a future occasion, once these have been fully rolled out and completed.” This has been pushed out time and time again this year, if you know the rooms are not fit for use then stop ripping people off and charging them for a sub-standard room? Management can send out a generic response to this review and it will reinforce the notion that they simply don't listen. It's been an all round dire experience with Thistle, my first and last stay with them. Woeful service, inept action from management.

Google Bad Review (2):  In 2016, we had a plesent visit at the Ermins given it was being converted to a Marriott Autograph Collection and much still needed attention. We returned this year for eight days, Dec 22-30. Much has changed, for the worst. First the lieing was not to be believed. A broken light bulb left in the corner of the room after it exploded and I personally reported to management. The bath floor are like glass, very dangerous…The linen not changed on a regular bases and often housekeeping left items from previous day(s)…We were promised “Breakfest with Suite” than pretty much accused of lying on the last day, I said ‘ Please make tis clear, I dont NEED a free breakfest” All in all, after hundreds of Marriott experiences all over the world, My youngest Cavalier is NAMED Marriott, not withstanding, this says something…. My Partner and I are so diaspointed. Late the night before departure I was told all would be resolved before morning…I suggested that gentleman (Evening Mgr) hurry as he had me at a table in an empty dining room for a hour telling me that NONE of our complaints should ever have happened, and midnight was approaching…..He did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!!!! He said ‘ Believe me you will be very pleasing surprised when you receive your folio tomorrow' Did not happen, LAST lie! I will further take this up with Marriott International, we have two M.Hotels we love, one in Paris and one in Rome and they love us as well AND THEY CAN BE TRUSTED!!!!!!!

I Must say the bell staff, concerige etc were excillent!

Google Bad Review 1:  First of all you can tell that a lot of the 5/5 reviews are paid reviews which is common in this industry. Overall poorly managed property. Very overpriced for the type of service and rooms. Check in is poor and slow, I dealt with Mr CHENG at the front desk who showed no real desire to help, he just gave a standard answer at check in-“we cannot tell how many hours before a room is ready” and basically pushed me off. He never showed any eye contact, this seems to be the temperament of the majority of the front desk staff. Except for one person-I walked over to MURIEL at the next check in desk and she called housekeeping, she ascertained an estimate time and showed a true personal caring attitude. But, Unfortunately expect 3-4 hour minimum wait for your room.
Lounge lobby service is awful. I sat for almost an hour in a desolate lounge/restaurant in the lobby. Two waitress on site, both just standing talking with each other. Extremely poor-service. A just dont care attitude. Even when you speak with the manager Martin, he has the same attitude automatically defensive. If management exemplifies such poor service of course staff will project the same poor service attitude. Avoid here and walk a block over westminister bridge and enjoy a traditional meal at great price fantastic service. Overall poor service in entire facility. Location is the only exemplary praise. Please excuse brevity and grammatical errors

Google Bad Review 1:  Liked the venue but had a very bad experience with the manager yesterday. We bought drinks at the bar and 10 mins later this lady manager (did not catch her name) suddenly appeared, was extremely rude, shouted at us and told us that it was way past their finishing time and we had to leave. If that was the case, she should have advised her bar staff to stop serving drinks to customers. I have never given a negative review on a website and if she had stated the same thing in a different way, I would not have written this one even though it was unfair. She works in a hospitality industry and knows nothing about customer care. We will never go back there again.

Google Bad Review (2):  Avoid for weddings. We left lots of wedding cake and agreed to collect the leftover tiers the next day. When we went back there was none left. As the bride and groom we never got any of our own wedding cake.

Google Bad Review 1:  First of all you can tell that a lot of the 5/5 reviews are paid reviews which is common in this industry. Overall poorly managed property. Very overpriced for the type of service and rooms. Check in is poor and slow, I dealt with Mr CHENG at the front desk who showed no real desire to help, he just gave a standard answer at check in-“we cannot tell how many hours before a room is ready” and basically pushed me off. He never showed any eye contact, this seems to be the temperament of the majority of the front desk staff. Except for one person-I walked over to MURIEL at the next check in desk and she called housekeeping, she ascertained an estimate time and showed a true personal caring attitude. But, Unfortunately expect 3-4 hour minimum wait for your room.
Lounge lobby service is awful. I sat for almost an hour in a desolate lounge/restaurant in the lobby. Two waitress on site, both just standing talking with each other. Extremely poor-service. A just dont care attitude. Even when you speak with the manager Martin, he has the same attitude automatically defensive. If management exemplifies such poor service of course staff will project the same poor service attitude. Avoid here and walk a block over westminister bridge and enjoy a traditional meal at great price fantastic service. Overall poor service in entire facility. Location is the only exemplary praise. Please excuse brevity and grammatical errors

Google Bad Review (2):  Hotel con la recepción más poco empatica que he conocido. Servicio de limpieza cada 3 días, mentiras al afirmar que no tienen servicio de limpieza por la tarde, limpian habitaciones a las 19:30h de la tarde y demandar lamentable. No ponen mis puntos en mi cuenta Radisson porque no se hizo en la reserva y el último día me dicen que no hay problema con otra recepcionista. Piscina con aire acondicionado ;D. No compensa en absoluto pagar lo que se paga, Muy muy decepcionado.
