Google Bad Review:  I contacted the professional cleaning company as they were able to carry out mite/flea infestation carpet cleaning for an end of tenancy clean, when others were unable to.

After agreeing a cost for the carpet clean on the phone, I received a call on the day of the clean saying that they had not recalled my request for mite/flea infestation clean (despite having a phone call about it, and receiving a text with the price quoted as “all in”) I was told the carpet clean would now cost more. We compromised and the professional cleaning company agreed to only charge their “cost” price of the chemicals – apparently an additional £20 for 4 carpets.

I received the invoice late Tuesday and the next day received a text demanding immediate payment or I would be charged £75 plus £10 for each further day.

As I explained to the professional cleaning company, I wanted to check the carpets before paying as I hadn't been there during the clean. I had also never agreed to immediate payment terms. I received a following demand the next day at just gone 8am, with further threats of “£85 late payment charges” – the invoice I swiftly paid.

I gave feedback to the company that their aggressive approach to payment had put me off using them in future and I felt it was entirely unnecessary. A 2 day delay on payment hardly warranted the tone of the communications. Unfortunately, whilst I suggested they use the feedback to improve their customer experience, the professional cleaning company didn't take the feedback on board, and instead argued with me. A disappointing approach to customer service.

I would not use again, and I don't recommend if you want carpets clean at the price quoted on a phone call (get it in writing afterwards!) and not if you're not permanently attached to your email, or moving house with no internet, and it will take more than 48 hours for you to log into your online banking!
