Google Bad Review 1:  I do not recommend going to this college at all in terms of teaching and the way it is organised I can say from experience that it is a terrible college, the teachers do not know how to teach properly, they use old presentations and text books with minimum effort. I studied 2 years of BTEC level 3 business extended diploma and pretty much learnt everything myself not only that but I received wrong results, the teachers were no help and kept stalling me for no reason, literally so lazy and useless. Stay away from this teacher called Zara, when you see her you can tell what type of lady she is, she looks like a coat hanger. Biggest waffler.

Met one of the worst, rudest, most arrogant teachers of my life here who made my first year absolute hell. I don't recommend you go here, especially not to study politics….

If you value your education and want to have a professional career then pray that you are not dealt the Barking and Dagenham college card. Being part of this “Educational” institution has caused me to lose faith in the education system of this country.

they may come across as a professional and well organised college but this could not be further from the case. The money that they receive is pumped into the college architecture and a small fraction is used for the benefit of the students education.

The agency that the college is paired with literally sends anyone to teach a course, it doesn't matter what degree they have they will try and teach that course. the teaching techniques are a complete shambles, they get a lesson plan off the internet , read it word for word and ask you to complete it.

all the money they receive and 75% of the computers do not work. This college is one of the best scams that i have come across as soon as they receive that student finance from you you are on your own.

the hygiene of the teachers is also of a 3rd world country, maybe the college should do a hygiene test before they employ these “Teachers”.

Teachers speak broken English this makes it difficult to learn, it seems that the teachers are hired from some sort of border control agency.

to sum this review up

all i have learn from the college is that Halal cheese sandwich's exist.

Google Bad Review 1:  Library isn't open on weekends. Closes 9pm on weekdays. 6pm on Friday. Have to book a slot JUST TO ENTER the library 2 days in advance. Utterly useless for people who are working and can't come during the day. Defeats the whole point of the uni as advertised. Rip-off.

The (IT) course tutors are either current students at Birckbeck or self employed sort of freelance non-staff sometimes quite rude outsiders with no grades or titles. Classes are overcrowded and the whole thing appears to be heavenly driven by profit rather than the quality of teaching.

Who would spend hard earned money (unless your daddy pays for it:) ) to be tought by another student /or ungraded outsider?

The problem is that Birbeck unlike other universities (hides this critical information when one registers for a particular course) does not publish the course tutors and their profile hence is very easy to get bogged into this only to find out after you started. And be aware that the staff there could be very hostile towards any student who tries to raise any matter at all.

Google Bad Review (2):  I transferred my MSc Oil and Gas Management course from GSM London due to they was closed, CU London supposed to start my course on September 2019 but until February 2020 they wasn’t able to. Finally I requested them to cancellation my student membership but unfortunately after 1.5 years I received a letter from debt collection agency that I need to pay my tuition fees £2700 + from without have any education from them. Student please ignore them, they will destroyed your education, education board must have inquiries about them. I will send a request to education inquiry committee to report them. CU should keep on eye to CU London campus.
