Google Bad Review 1: Library isn't open on weekends. Closes 9pm on weekdays. 6pm on Friday. Have to book a slot JUST TO ENTER the library 2 days in advance. Utterly useless for people who are working and can't come during the day. Defeats the whole point of the uni as advertised. Rip-off.

Google Bad Review (2): Short answer is no.
The (IT) course tutors are either current students at Birckbeck or self employed sort of freelance non-staff sometimes quite rude outsiders with no grades or titles. Classes are overcrowded and the whole thing appears to be heavenly driven by profit rather than the quality of teaching.
Who would spend hard earned money (unless your daddy pays for it:) ) to be tought by another student /or ungraded outsider?
The problem is that Birbeck unlike other universities (hides this critical information when one registers for a particular course) does not publish the course tutors and their profile hence is very easy to get bogged into this only to find out after you started. And be aware that the staff there could be very hostile towards any student who tries to raise any matter at all.
