Google Bad Review (2):  I dropped in after seeing their instagram. Tattoos look great quality. Vibe in shop clean and calm, maybe more style than substance. I left a printed design concept with them. No one got back to me. I called back twice, still no development, not even a consultation with an artist. Went in again after two weeks and was told they basically only do fine line or ‘shaded' stuff (whatever that means). If you want anything that is not straight up stereotypical their style, they're not into it. Not dynamic or adaptable. Safe art and artists only. If you like your tattoos to look like everyone else's, this is the studio for you.
What has tattooing become?
Is the new symmetrical mandala style pattern tattoo this years tribal?

No portfolios at all in studio to look at, was directed back to instagram while actually standing in the shop! No, i don't want to look at more little pics on my phone, I want to see your actual art.

UPDATE TO YOUR REPLY – Halima, that's just not true of you. My email address has been operational for 19 years and is definitely receiving emails. You also have my phone number, are you going to tell me my phone isn't working too?

The ONLY response i have from you is from my one star google review rather than from my artwork consultation request that I physically brought into your studio.

When i called in in person, again, I was informed one of your artists maybe interested, but not interested enough to actually contact me for a consultation. Your reply says ‘we do prefer to listen to your design ideas, build on your concept making each experience personal to the customer during the consultations we offer' – well, GREAT, come on then! I brought in a very big forearm tattoo idea and concept and was simply ignored.

Should i really be chasing you? Do you think that inspires confidence in something so permanent?

I found them patronising and left feeling quite upset, as if I had been treated like a child, which is not the experience you want when you are concerned about something.

Google Bad Review 1:  Extremely disappointing experience. Booked in advance with Roo. Only received the first design 3 hours before my appointment (after chasing) I unfortunately arrived 20 mins late due to parking issues but then had to communicate changes via the receptionist as the tattooist didn’t even come out to speak to me until I asked. Got advised changes might not be able to be made as she didn’t have time & another appointment was after me. I don’t think I’m alone in wanting permanent ink on me to be exactly what I am happy with so we decided to postpone for 4 days later. Finally spoke & made good headway with a design which I was promised the next day. 3 days later (day before tattoo) I received the design & I was happy…small changes that could be made on the day. Arranged for my partner who live a few hours away to come with me & dinner afterwards. 3 hours before the appointment, they called to change the time which I couldn’t make. I have numerous tattoos & have never experienced this where my ink just didn’t seem important & I couldn’t trust the output to be something I would be happy with. I’m used to being excited (and nervous!) but It was a disappointing experience which really put me off getting inked here. And it’s a shame because it has nothing to do with the art skills.

I had a mid helix piercing back in July… I made it very clear I had jewellery allergies and needed a gold earring. They assured me that they have gold jewellery and I will need to pay extra (of course).

Minor red flags when the piercer touched EVERYTHING in the cubicle with the ‘sterile’ gloves on…
Paid extra for numbing spray which ch was just a 3 second cold spray… not numbing at all, waste of money.
Piercing at the time was fine but after 3 days became painful and after a week and a half I had excruciating pain and BLISTERING because they had used a bar that was too small causing irritation and rubbing.

When I sent a pic after about 2 weeks of pain they assured me they would change the bar length, and told me I was likely developing a keloid.

Bar changed… perfect. Or so I thought. Persistent pain, lumps and bleeding I decided to go to a different studio. They confirmed that the jewellery was not real gold… not titanium and mostly likely an alloy with steel or nickel which I’m allergic to (and should never be used for fresh piercings anyway).

The other piercing studio also told me that keloids don’t form that soon and it was an irritation bump due to poor quality jewellery and the bar length.

I do NOT recommend this jewellers.

Google Bad Review (2):  Definitely would not recommend coming here for tattoos or piercings. Constant changes of staff makes it difficult to build a decent customer base. They seem to get amazing tattooists in, who do beautiful work, and then a few months later, they’re gone. Having piercings here isn’t any better either. My friend had their dimples (cheeks) pierced here and the woman didn’t use swell bars. My friend was trying to look after them as best as they could but the inside of her cheek ended up swallowing the back of the bar because it was so swollen and she had to go to hospital to get it removed. The piercer also charged her an extra £10 for the piercing even though it says on their price list that two cheek piercings cost £70 and not £80. Isn’t sanitary, as the piercer was touching absolutely everything in the studio with gloves on that she didn’t replace to do my piercing. Clearly some things need to be done. Being in the industry myself, this is one of the worst studios I have ever visited. Steer clear

Google Bad Review 1:  I got my septum pierced there and I have had a bad experience. I have been to other professionals to have second opinions and I might have to take the piercing off.

– The piercing is crooked (one side is lower and deeper, the other is higher and less deep)
– I have no idea what kind of jewellery is on my nose (compared to my friends', it doesn't look like a good quality one, since it is matte)
– The professional did not know how to advise me on how to treat a bump on the septum (he claimed it was his first time seeing a bump on a septum piercing, even though he also claims to have 20 years of experience)

I am sorry if this is a harsh review, but I would have liked to have read an honest review like this before choosing the place to get the piercing done.

Google Bad Review (2):  I went there to change my piercing as I couldn’t take out my nose ring. (I’ve had my nose pierced for 3 years and changed it from a different shop) I came to this one as the other one was not open and the guy was sooo unprofessional. Firstly, he laid me down then took it out so aggressively then couldn’t put the new piercing in so he decided to REPIERCE my nose – so I have 2 holes on the left side of my nostril. He put a needle through my nose again when he was just supposed to change the piercing… I was literally begging him to stop and he didn’t instead he kept continuing and being rude saying ‘are you a piercer?’ ‘So dramatic’. Then I felt really sick. I’m so lucky after that I met a professional piercer that works in prophecy tattoo – she told me what he did was so unprofessional and he was not supposed to do these things at all!! She even looked at my nose and could see how he messed up. I normally don’t give reviews like this in terms of bad ones but honestly this really needs to be given because they’re so bad – like so bad so if you don’t want issues like this I’d suggest no one to go here

Google Bad Review 1:  Had my tattoo cancelled a week before it was due. Getting my deposit back was the biggest hassle, first of all they kept offering me vouchers as they really didn't want to give me back the full deposit, the London office then told me to email the main office. After 4 emails I still wasn't getting a response and the London office said they couldn't do anything. Luckily I paid the deposit with Paypal so I launched a dispute and won my money back. If you do go here for love of god don't give them cash otherwise you'll never see it again if you need a refund.

Google Bad Review (2):  Totally unprofessional. I had booked session with Mr. Lado. They cancelled it and reschedule to new date. It was fine I received a notice earlier. In the second attempt when I came on plasce studio was closed artist did not even showed up. I tried to call but no one picked up the phone. I called to Glasgow studio and they send me to home. Now I want to get back my deposit back for over 2 weeks and they don't reply my emails, avoiding phone calls. What a piece of rubbish studio. NOT RECOMMEND.

Google Bad Review 1:  Cant fault my tattoo artist at all and will be going to their new studio to get more tatts from them! Although with everything coming out about this place and the price I paid for the tattoo(it’s a rip off!) I wont be returning to this place. Disappointed and horrified by what I’ve seen from so many people! Hundreds of artists and customers being made feel uncomfortable in so many different ways isn’t a mistake. There’s a recurring theme here. If you’re thinking about going here, don’t. There’s plenty other tattoo studios in London (or just support the artists who worked here in their new studios!!)

Google Bad Review (2):  had to write this on a different email as i didn’t feel comfortable doing it on my usual one.

this place is dodgy. i’ve heard from my regular tattoo artist (who i trust with my life) that there is some mega shady stuff going on. data breach from receptionist harassing clients, hugging and touching underage women. and the owner doing some shady stuff. so many tattoo artists have left and done their own thing because of the behaviour at this studio.

i went here once whilst my regular tattoo artist was working there and was just 18. receptionist who i’d barely spoken to (maybe a hello?) asked for a hug when i was leaving. i was uncomfortable and didn’t know how to sound polite saying no, also being a young woman i know that saying no can put us in danger so i allowed it and was so uncomfortable. pretty sure this employee was brought up by artists several times and the owner ignored it.

please be careful!! especially to my fellow young women, it can be so hard finding someone to trust!
