Google Bad Review: DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE!

I took my cat here last week for a de-matting of his chest and everything seemed fine until I got him home.

When we got home I let him out of the carrier and he laid on the floor,
As he rolled over I could see BLOOD on both of his back paws.

I immediately called Absolutely Animals to find out what had happened.

They proceeded to tell me that they had noticed one of his back paw claws had split and therefor needed to be cut, this was a lie. I brought up the fact that BOTH of his paws were bleeding and they denied having anything to do with it.

As I examined him further I could see that ALL of his claws had been cut, confirming the fact that i had been lied to.

I have been shown by professionals at battersea how to properly cut a cats claws. If done correctly THEY DO NOT BLEED.

Not only have they lied to me about what happened during the grooming, THEY HAVE HURT MY CAT and damaged his claws.

I understand that during the grooming process they may need to trim the claws to prevent scratches, however as ‘professionals' it should be done correctly and without any harm done to the animal.

I now feel like an awful pet owner for having taken him to these guys and want to make sure that this does not happen to anyone else's beloved animal.

In response to the reply that I have received from absolutely Animals and that you will see below- I think that it is appalling that now (a month or so later) they are still trying to make excuses regarding the mishandling of my cat. None of the said below was told to me at the time upon me asking them what had happened, and upon questioning them as to whether or not they had clipped his claws, to which they replied that they DEFINITELY had not, either way of what happened that day, they had lied to me and are therefor untrustworthy of leaving your animal alone with them. Regarding this, they are apologising for ‘feeling like I had a bad experience' that is not an apology. There is no excuse for flat out lying to me and please do not contact me again if you are going to offer another minor back handed apology.

Awful awful customer service

Side note-it is laughable that they are accusing my cat of being aggressive, as when I had returned for him they told me he was one of the most friendly cats they'd groomed, lies after lies, not impressed.

Your second response to my review clearly displays the level of unproffessionalism that i was reviewing in the first place, thank you for proving my point. You continue to embarrass yourself and your company.

Google Bad Review 1: The absolute worst customer experience I have ever received at a hairdressers in my life! Today the manager, Helen, was disgustingly rude and exemplified poor customer service throughout. I booked an appointment to get a nice and simple shoulder-length single plaits hairstyle and I travelled for 3 and a half hours to get to Lee where she is based. My appointment started at 9:30 and ended at 15:30 with my hair unfinished and me being told by Helen and her stylist that I was going to end up with a hairstyle that I never agreed to. After being told this, I immediately referred back to our previous messages where I detailed (very clearly with pictures) the hair that I wanted. She then started to openly and passive-aggressively complain about me in the salon to the other hairdressers, despite the entire issue being a result of her own incompetency and lack of communication with her staff! After belittling me to her staff, she then tried to pressure me into getting my braids cut into a layered style her stylist wanted (please see the attached images – the stylist wanted to cut by hair where she has placed the elastic bands), saying that if I wanted to get the hair plaited a few inches lower (the way I wanted and had previously asked for), I would have to pay more. I politely told her that it made more sense to leave the hair as it was and just pay the amount that I was quoted to pay (which was more as a courtesy as the length of the hair ended up shorter than what I was meant to have). To my surprise, I was told to pay £65, which was £11 more than the quote that I was given for a longer (finished) braided hairstyle. Given that what I had on my head was completely unfinished, in a terrible state (please see the attached pictures) and nowhere near resembling the style that I had asked for, this was not something I was prepared to do. I responded by explaining that the most I could do is pay the initial quoted price but was imminently asked to leave the salon and was kicked out.

All in all, I found today’s experience and service absolutely despicable and unprofessional. I would not recommend coming to this salon as they have zero understanding of how to treat their customers. Between this and having to endure having the stylist stop half way through braiding the hair, to complete an entire hairstyle on another client, I cannot think of worse experience.

Helen, you and your stylists need to re-evaluate the way you treat people who are happy and willing to come into your salon for a professional service. If you do not understand a hairstyle, it is always better to stop and ask for clarification than to continue with your understanding of what you believe the style to be. Also, under no circumstances should you force a style on someone. At the end of the day, we are PAYING with our hard-earned money for a specific service and should not be coerced to settle for a random style just because you want someone out of the chair and want to be paid.

Google Bad Review 1: Please avoid this restaurant! I and family members experienced food poisoning! I spent over £20 on rubbish, dried and cold food. Very small portion sizes!

The BBQ chicken wings were skinny, dried up like the Sahara desert, and not fresh at all. Seemed to be reheated for several days.

Chicken shish kebab and lamb doner kebab were very small and very dried. Salad were hardly any, and very dried up.

Chips were soggy and broken pieces.

Within one hour after consuming the foods I and a few family members experienced food poisoning such as severe tummy aches, diarrhoea and nausea.

Family were very disappointed.
The shop did not answer their phone calls either.
