Google Bad Review:  After reading so many positive reviews, I booked a 90 minutes deep tissue tratment with Andrea, who, I believe, is the Clinic's Manager. I thought I couldn't go wrong given the reviews. Having had many good massages in the past, I can honestly say that this was one of the worst massages I have ever had. One of those where you leave feeling more frustrated than when you started. The massage felt mechanical and without particular thought to the client's specific needs. The strokes were so fast and shallow that they did not targeted to the areas of tension. From experience, I can say that this is someone who started a career as a therapist with many bad habits that were not addressed and clearly someone who never asked for feedback. If she had asked me how I felt at the end of the treatment I would have said exactly that. Or maybe if she had checked mid- treatment to see whether I wanted more pressure. That I spent 90 minutes feeling more and more frustrated and sometimes unpleasant feeling the type of fast and efficient service, however considerably more expensive than pain you get when muscles are worked fast and superfcially. At the end of the treatment, I wasn't asked how I was feeling and whether I would like to book again. On reflection, I should have stopped the treatment and asked for my money back. I can only think that the people writing reviews either have never had a decent massage or are friends with the people working at the clinic. This is not meant to demoralise Andrea, but I hope that she will read this and start at least asking for feedback. Thereapists should never assume they know it all, massage is a constantly evolving art. Maybe I am just spoiled to have encountered great massage therapists in the past.
