Google Bad Review (2):  Having eaten in 20-30 times and having ordered delivery 5-10 times here is a realistic review.
The experience of eating in is alright – not an exceptional service and not bad either.
The taste of the food is just like any other Chinese takeaway place. One advantage they used to have over all other Chinese places was the bento box that included combination of multiple items. Unfortunately, during the last one year they removed more and more items from the box and raised the prices dramatically.
The experience of ordering delivery is as bad as it gets. Every single time is the same rude guy on the phone. I have a really hard time understanding how someone can be that rude while just taking a delivery order.
I saw some good reviews for this place – I just do not believe any one of them are genuine.

Avoid!!! – no matter how hungry you are!!!

Google Bad Review 1:  Not remotely close to sushi in taste, nor was it tasty either as ‘fusion’ food. Terrible service by staff who looked like their souls have already left for home despite it being only 12 noon (and it wasn’t even that busy). We ordered the seared salmon maki, the staff forgot about our order so I had to remind them.

As for the roll itself- the rice was wet and mushy when real Japanese sushi rice is supposed to be firm with a bit of bounce to the bite. The salmon was tasteless and bland (pretty amazing how they could make raw salmon become tasteless!) The roll was served with soy sauce, but we were not given a saucer to put the soy sauce in.

Overall a horrible experience and will never go back. You’re better off with the other restrictions next door.

3 of us has lunch here – a Bento box that was good. a noodle soup that was inedible as the noodles were raw, and mine, a fried noodle dish that was too oily, and overwhelmed by burnt onions. Not impressed.

Google Bad Review (2):  I have been to the Slurp restaurant several times before and recommended it to family and friends, mainly because I have generally been happy with the food. The service, however, has always been indifferent, a bit hit and miss, where the staff sometimes forget part of your order or they lack a reasonable level of good quality service, almost to the point where you have to show them what to do, (all in good spirit) i.e. a right handed person serving you on your left side and exposing you to their arm pit and smelling body odor (ghastly stuff).

My last two visits have been worrying in that having ordered rice (among other things) and upon eating it found that it was not right, the texture was spongy and it had no taste. I had to return it on both occasions. The Manager (male) apologized, removed it from the bill and brought a dessert as a gesture free of charge (good man). It is because of the manager and his desire to provide good service if things go wrong, the reason why I returned to this restaurant.

My most recent visit, however, was a disaster. The manager was not there on this occasion and all hell broke loose. I made my usual order but the rice was just not right. I literally only ate 2 or 3 small bite size portions for taste and it was just spongy with little or no taste. I asked the waitress (black girl) to take it away.

When I received the bill, the Chinese lady who appeared to be in charge insisted I pay for the rice because she claimed I had eaten over half of it.This was simply not true and she was clearly ‘reaching'. She then called the waitress (black girl) who became animated and shouted at me saying I've returned the rice on 2 previous occasions, which only endorsed my previous concerns that perhaps there is something wrong or something more sinister with the rice.

But what was most outrageous and completely unacceptable was not only what was being said to me by both staff members, but the sheer aggression and ignorant manner they exhibited. They stood over me whilst I was sitting at the table and shouted in ear shot of other guests saying I must pay for the rice. I was utterly shocked and numb by their behavior. I felt bullied and utterly humiliated. I was given the option of paying the full bill or told not to come back. Needless to say, I will not be going back and will be informing my family and friends of this incident. You may like the rice, I didn't.

Google Bad Review 1:  Hello, despite their effort for being nice, the service is not professional at all. There were 3 waiters chatting instead of serving customers. The duck roll was the most disgusting sushi I’ve had in my life, soggy rive and tasteless. At least the unlimited miso soup was nice. We ended up hungry and spent 8£ for nothing. Also I’ve asked them about the offer “kids eat free” at a certain time but as my phone died I could not apparently access to the offer.

Google Bad Review 1:  I had a very disappointing experience with the Jordan the manager of this place yesterday. We received 2 wrong items and I called to let them know and asked them to send the right ones to us. It took me over 10 minutes on the phone whilst he was trying to figure out what had happened, he kept telling me that it was me who had ordered the wrong item. I reassured him that on my order confirmation it stated the correct items which he still didn’t believe. In the end I emailed him our confirmation when he finally admitted that I was right, but I didn’t receive an apology but just rude remarks about how I have to understand that he can’t give me free food without verifying. I am shocked about how he deal with the situation and how he proudly stated he is the manager of the place. He should be embarrassed to show this sort of behaviour in from of his staff. We’ve ordered from here almost once a week, sometimes more often. This was the last time unfortunately. What an incompetent person, the owner should watch out with this guy who doesn’t know how to speak to customers. He’d probably treat his team in the same way.

Google Bad Review 1:  I've eaten from some disappointing places however this one takes the biscuit. I bought chicken chow mein with flashes of chicken in it. I also bought mixed seafood chow mein which went straight into the bin after eating the squid which was extremely rubbery at best. This place is by far the worse takeaway I've ever had in my life. Stay away and don't be fooled by the fact that it is also run as a restaurant. I had to give it a star in order be able to post this review hence the one star

Google Bad Review (2):  Customer service was so poor that we had to wait for 3 hours to get our food. Eventually, when we did get it, we were forced to take it home due to it being so late. The food was absolutely awful and it seemed like they took the food out of the fridge and threw it in the microwave. I will never go back and I do not recommend no one to go there either.
