Google Bad Review 1:  The most unwelcoming staff ever came across in a restaurant, as someone else mentioned in their review earlier…an almost “what the hell do you want” expression on the face of the person at front desk…he shouldn’t be in a service based industry. Left without eating. Seem like owner took notice of similar complaints in past …but hasn’t taken any action. I am going to post these comments on tripadviser too..whose ratings were boldly displayed at the reception.

Thanks for your response and yes I’d like to discuss my experience in more details with you.

However, your listing of the laurels of your establishment in the response is quite patronising. I hope you do understand that a customer will not form a lasting impression of your restaurant by statistics of your ratings, certificates and awards but only by its own individual experience with you and I notice from other reviews that I am not the only one who had a bad experience with your staff.

Funny, but your response reminds me of a Xmas movie -Arthur Christmas , that I recently watched over the holidays, where in, a statistics focused manager of Santa’s gift delivery team thought it was “OK” that one child was missed out , considering their impeccable past record and that their success rate for the night was 99.9999…%.

I hope you treat negative feedback as an opportunity to improve rather than see it as a minor blip on your highway to statistical success.

Google Bad Review (2):  Awful! Staff we’re rude and had no idea what they were doing. We had a starter in which we were expected to hold our menu’s as the waiter had no where to put them, I kindly said to him (young waiter) we don’t need these anymore as we are ready to order thanks. To which he then went and said to his colleague don’t bother with them they’re not ordering food! So after 10 mins of being ignored I had to get up and ask to order. I ordered the Chicken Korma as I can’t eat spicy food. The presentation was lovely when it arrived but sadly very spicy and kicked off my acid reflux instantly. I kindly said the waitress that it was lovely but could the chef possibly put some more coconut or yogurt in to cool it down as I can’t eat it. Over 45 mins later and after 3 visits to the kitchen the waitress brought back my cold meal. My partner has finished ages ago and it just wasn’t enjoyable by that stage. The waitress kept coming back saying the chef couldn’t do anything and I just had to ‘deal with it’. This was extremely poor service which I refused to accept. I hate complaining and I always try to be friendly in these situations, I also asked for a water refill over 5 times and this never happened either. There were only 5 other people so they were hardly rushed off their feet. When we went to pay a service charge of £5 was added. I’m all for rewarding good service but I really wasn’t then! So I asked them to take it off to which they replied it was mandatory. This was a complete joke and I had to get the manager down who quickly told the staff how stupid they were for saying it’s mandatory. The meal was overpriced and the staff ruined it in my opinion. I won’t be going back and I suggest you look for a more friendly service yourself before you waste your time and money.
