Google Bad Review 1:  Left a pair of wireless earphones in my room, less than an hour after leaving the hotel I called back and explained what had happened, I knew EXACTLY where I left them. Staff told me there was nothing in the room, housekeeping had blatantly stolen my property and the hotel refused to take any responsibility. Mo the down the line they still can’t explain how my property magically disappeared in the space of 45 minutes, I had to point out the difference between a ‘lost’ and ‘left’ item as they continually tried to suggest it was my fault they couldn’t find them. Avoid if you care about keeping all your possessions after your stay.

Google Bad Review (2):  Worst hotel ever – and that includes the one where they painted over the window. The room is miniscule and comes complete with the contortionist’s wardrobe! There’s nowhere to work. The rooms don’t even have kettles and the bed is about 3 foot in the air, so when you’re 5 foot to start with, it’s an effort just to get into it.

Google Bad Review (2):  We arrived at the Chamberlain’s bar for some evening drinks as we were in the area. As soon as we stepped into the bar we were welcomed with a smile by a young blonde bartender. However, the man behind the till (bearded, grey hair, wearing glasses, Peter?) was far from welcoming. He didn’t allowed the blonde bartender to serve us or any of the other customers, waiving his hand at him to leave us and other customers alone and even grunted at him. I’m not sure what’s his issue was but definitely put us off and in an awkward position as we didn’t know what to say or do. We only had a drink each and left as we felt uncomfortable by how the bearded man was behaving behind the bar, even when he was taking our order he did not attempt to talk to us and spoke very quietly as if he didn’t want to be there. I ordered an aperol spritz and it tasted horrible, far too strong, I couldn’t even finish it, no wonder why the bar was so quiet for a Saturday evening.

Google Bad Review 1:  Hotel is new and not ready for prime time. I should note I️ am an Ambassador level in the Marriott program, meaning I️ stay over 100 nights a year in their hotels, so I️ allegedly should be treated super well. It took four visits over four days and over an hour of my time collectively to fix a screw up about which credit card should be charged. No one ever followed up or did anything promised until I had to have a manager intervene. It was a 3 minute task when someone bothered to do it. Not even the slightest suggestion of compensating me for their incompetence and indifference which caused me to waste my time over four days. My room wasn’t cleaned the first day. The second day the bed was made but the trash was not emptied. I therefore had leftover trashed Chinese takeout in the room for a few days. Ugh. The exec lounge was always out of stock and was not restocked. There was some discrepancy on the way the rooms were described and what was available but immaterial compared to the other screwups. I️ have stayed at over a dozen London properties and will never stay here again. There are also illogical policies which led to the credit card issue in the first place but I️ could even tolerate that nonsense (why pretend to have online checkin if it is a total lie?—we are living in 2022, not 1982) if anyone had bothered to fix the issue each time they promised they would.

Google Bad Review (2):  I’m honestly so disappointed, rarely do I write negative reviews, but the deplorable service/treatment myself and my fiance received whilst spending Valentine’s day here warrants it entirely. We were allocated a room on the 6th floor which in itself was no issue, however upon arrival immediately the cold temperature of the room was an issue. Even after adjusting the thermostat to the highest temperature the room was still frigid. The hotel desk informed us that there was nothing more they could do and offered complimentary blankets. We decided to order some food from the kitchen in hopes that this would improve the evening. Lo and behold the food was awful, the sea bass was dry, the salmon terakiyi was even drier, and the octopus was manageable at best. All 3 dishes were sent back, and again no sort of recompense was offered.
This was just the beginning, however, as the evening progressed a draft became apparent. And was so bad that for long periods of the night it was audible, I recorded this and went to the desk demanding a room change and was promptly told that nothing could be done to remedy this situation. Finally, we opted to leave early the next morning after enjoying little to no sleep.

As a young business professional, who works in the city I’d advise any prospective onlookers to go elsewhere!

2명이 사용하는데 방이 매우 좁아 캐리어 2개를 동시에 열기 어려웠고, 하나를 열면 움직일 공간이 없었습니다. 그리고 창문이 없어 환기가 안돼 답답했습니다. 그래도 위치가 좋고, 매일 청소를 해주어서 만족했습니다. 다만 매우 불친절했던 한 직원의 태도에 다시는 이용하고 싶지 않아졌습니다.

Google Bad Review (2):  Very disappointing.
Arrived to find that hotel had booked our room twice… a “computer glitch” apparently. If you believe that, you’ll believe anything. We were downgraded…and even offered a room without enough beds!!
Air con was rubbish… and windows didn’t open… it was stifling hot all night. It was only about 20c outside, I’m glad I didn’t stay in August!!
I highly recommend staying ANYWHERE else.

Google Bad Review 1:  I chose this hotel earlier this week. May 22-24th based off reviews, location, & a more modern feel.
Our room was very difficult for two men to get ready in. I can’t imagine what it would be like for anyone else.
There’s a few things that need adjustments. The rooms could have been designed more space efficient considering you and your partner might have full sized luggage.
The space between the foot of the bed and tv is an unnecessary bulky block that connects to the wall the same length of the bed. So if you sleep on the window side of this room, you have to step up to then get over to the other side of the bed. The TV sits on a very bulky wall shelf (entertainment center) so rather save space by mounting the flat screen to the wall, you have that protruding out about 6 inches towards the bed. Giving you less than 24 inches between where the bed ends and tv begins. Making even more unnecessary junk. Unnecessary bulky cupboards near the bed, 2 sinks… ?? 1 near the bed which we couldn’t use because our luggage needed to go somewhere and around towards the door is a kitchen with sink. The bathroom door sticks out in the hall.. I hit that with my leg a couple times.
The room, (for the very small size) could have been designed better)
The standing shower clogged each use taking 10 mins to drain and mind you, it was only maybe 1 inch below the main floor so we had to throw towels everywhere to keep it from flooding too far. (The issue wasn’t fixed when I told them the first day but they only apologized for) so we learned to get wet, turn the water off, soap up, rinse, turn the water off, soap up, rinse. It was annoying.. even barely using water, it would still flood.

Very strange the receptionist don’t have a proper desk but are forced to stand in the middle of the narrow small lobby. Plenty of room for a small desk and chair.

Overall, I would stay in a more traditional hotel since it would most likely be the same size room. This “modern” decor was simply unnecessary.

Google Bad Review (2):  Fantastic location but for the price (c£230 per night) was unfortunately, not really worth it.
As for the hotel itself, it’s a new, high-tech and compact with some minor issues that we reported to them whilst staying there such as vanity sink lights not working etc (made wife’s makeup application resemble the Joker out of Batman ).
All in all, there are better cheaper hotels around if you look.
